80-100 seeds Rhododendron caucasicum.

Rhododendron caucasicum wildly grows in the Caucasus in the subalpine belt, sometimes forming continuous thickets near snow fields.
Evergreen, low shrub, up to 50-60 cm (according to other sources it can reach 1-2 m) in height, often with creeping branches. Oval-oblong, leathery leaves, pointed at the ends, with edges curled downwards, dark green above, glabrous, rusty-tomentose below, up to 10 cm, on a thick petiole. Flowers up to 4 cm in diameter, funnel-bell-shaped, yellowish-white with greenish spots inside (calyxes, pedicels and ovaries densely covered with rusty hairs), 8-12 in brushes, on long hairy peduncles. Blooms in June-July, blooms again in nature, abundantly.
The plant smells of a faint, pleasant aroma. The fruit is a box, up to 3 cm, tomentose-pubescent. It grows slowly.
Prefers damp, shaded areas. Good in group, curb and single plantings in semi-shaded, humid places in gardens and parks, in the undergrowth and sparse plantings. In culture since 1803.
Full winter hardiness
In nature flowers May-July.
Cold resistant, but not very much dry resistant. The true type species with white flowers is rare in cultivation.

USDA Hardiness Zone (°F): 4 (-30 to -20 °F)
